Our program
Madilu Learning Centre
Madilu Learning Centre is a vital program under Madilu Seva Trust, specifically designed to provide comprehensive support to children who have faced educational gaps or discontinuation in their studies. Our mission is to bridge these gaps, motivate the beneficiaries, and facilitate their smooth transition back into the formal education system.
Through this program, we offer a bridge course to help children catch up on missed education and successfully rejoin nearby government schools. We diligently monitor their progress, ensuring they have the necessary resources such as free books, school bags, and stationery for a conducive learning environment.

In addition to academic support, we offer extra tuition classes to reinforce their learning and engage them in extracurricular activities, fostering their skill development. We strongly believe in nurturing talents, and we encourage children to explore their interests, especially in sports, providing a well-rounded development experience.
To further enhance their knowledge and global perspective, we conduct weekly online classes in collaboration with NRI Indian students settled in the USA through the Prerna Trust, USA. These classes cover a range of subjects, including hygiene, environment, science, history, and more. The program is coordinated by Miss. Sunanda Bagler, a dedicated tribal teacher employed by the Trust.
Our commitment extends across ten Madilu lerning centres, with seven located in tribal areas of Tumkur District and three in HD Kote taluk, Mysore district, all operating under the ‘Akshara Madilu’ education program. We aim to provide holistic education and development opportunities to children, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to thrive in both their academic and personal lives.
